Steve Arthur, owner of Travel Lovers, has been in the travel business for 23 years and has spent a lifetime traveling. A native of Central Virginia and a retired Lynchburg, Va Police Lieutenant and graduate of the FBI Academy, Steve shares his passion for travel with everyone he meets. Steve is married to Barbara Arthur and they reside on their farm in Appomattox. Steve and Barbara also share an interest in antiquing and gardening.

Steve has a particular interest in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America that has led to extensive travel in the region and has earned him specialist status for a number of destinations.  Recently, European travel has been his focus with trips to Western and Central Europe and the Mediterranean.

Steve takes a “hand-on” approach with Travel Lovers and you will likely see him at any area travel event or local Bridal Show. In addition to his daily involvement with the travel agency, he is also a member of the Moose Lodge #715 and the Marshal Lodge #39 Masonic Order.

If you come by to visit him in our office, Steve will introduce you to Kiwi, our office Senegal Parrot.
Kiwi does a few tricks and sometimes will speak, but be assured that he’s always loud!
